About

Self-Care Compass

A warm, educational self-care ecosystem — because understanding yourself shouldn’t require a crisis first.

Our Mission

Self-Care Compass exists to make everyday self-awareness feel accessible. We take complicated ideas from the mental-health and personal-growth literature and turn them into plain-language readings, short practices, and gentle reflections you can pick up when you have five quiet minutes. The aim is simple: help people notice how they’re doing, steady themselves, and build the vocabulary to seek real support when they need it.

Phase 1 — Safe Pilot

You’re visiting an early, invite-only pilot. Phase 1 focuses on the foundations — the three Stabilization Tiers of our 14-tier self-awareness framework — plus a gentle welcome space we call ARZU Connect. We’re intentionally keeping the scope small while we gather feedback, polish the content, and build the right supports.

What’s available today

  • ARZU Connect welcome space
  • Stabilization Portal (Tiers 1–3)
  • Crisis-resources integration
  • Progress tracking

What’s not available yet

  • Assessments or clinical tools
  • AI chat or conversation agents
  • Upper tiers (4–14)
  • Public signup (invite-only for now)

The 14-Tier Framework (in brief)

Self-awareness isn’t one skill; it’s a stack of them. Our framework organizes that stack into 14 tiers, moving from ground-floor regulation all the way up to how we relate to the world around us. In the Pilot we only open the first three:

1

Tier 1Body & Breath

Noticing what your nervous system is doing and giving it simple, steadying inputs.

2

Tier 2Emotion Literacy

Naming feelings with more precision so they pass through instead of getting stuck.

3

Tier 3Thought Patterns

Spotting the loops your mind falls into and practicing kinder alternatives.

Tiers 4–14 remain in development and are not part of the Pilot.

What this isn’t

Self-Care Compass is not therapy, not medical advice, and not a crisis service. There’s no licensed clinician in the loop. The readings are informational — the kind of thing you might find in a good self-help book, not a treatment plan.

If something you read here lands heavy, if you’re struggling, or if you’re in crisis, please reach out to real human support.

Privacy-first by design

We collect the minimum needed to sign you in, show you content, and make sure the crisis banner appears when it should. No assessments. No journal entries. No conversation logs. Read the fullPrivacy Policy for details.
